About the Saudi-Uzbek Business Council
A government-endorsed bilateral platform driving private-sector growth between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Uzbekistan since 2021.
A council built for capital
Who We Are
The Saudi-Uzbek Business Council (SUBC) is the official bilateral business council established under the patronage of the governments of Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan to facilitate trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries' private sectors. Founded in Bukhara in January 2021, the Council operates through a joint executive committee structure with Co-Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen, and executive members representing the highest levels of both nations' business communities. Why We Exist
Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan share deep historical, cultural, and economic ties. As Uzbekistan implements its ambitious reform agenda and Saudi Arabia executes Vision 2030, both nations see each other as natural strategic partners. The Council exists to translate that strategic alignment into concrete investment outcomes — providing the structure, credibility, and connectivity that cross-border business requires."Two civilizations. One economy. A single, durable bridge for capital."
Where we are going
To be the leading bilateral platform connecting Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan — recognised by governments and investors in both countries as the essential gateway for trade, investment, and lasting economic partnership.
To enhance cultural, trade, and investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Uzbekistan — in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 — by facilitating investment flows, supporting bilateral business linkages, providing policy intelligence, and organising high-impact forums that serve the Council's objectives and the aspirations of the private sector in both countries.
A message from the Chair
"Our region's future will be written in the commercial languages of Riyadh and Tashkent. The Council exists to draft that document with discipline."
